The story within a story concept is ok, but it doesn't really progress our ka-tet to the Dark Tower. I do love The Wind Through The Keyhole story within this book. The Skin Man, not so much. I feel these were story ideas King had but couldn't create a final product, so this book became essentially three short stories nested within each other.
